My Home Life England is delighted to launch our latest leadership support and development programmes, directly to care providers!
We’ve been working alongside the social care sector for over 18 years, improving the quality of management and leadership of more than 2,600 leaders from across social care.
Our programmes support care leaders to develop high-quality management and leadership skills, improved professional confidence, resilience and retention. They also have a wider impact – on care teams, the people they care for, families, external professionals and stakeholders and the overall culture of the care setting.

My Home Life England Professional Support and Development Programme
Our flagship Professional Support and Development Programme (PSDP) is our gold-standard, highly effective 9 month programme. It supports social care leaders (working in care homes, home care services and supported living services) to develop their leadership skills, resilience, and professional confidence, while creating empowering team cultures that enable services to deliver great care and support, with a positive ripple effect through the care setting.
In our recent programme evaluation, 96% of care leaders said that they had improved the quality of their management and leadership.
The PSDP consists of:
- 3 full day workshops, where care leaders work with best practice, evidence-based tools and shape their approach to great leadership, in a safe space for discussion and reflection.
- A unique offer of 6 group coaching sessions (action learning sets) over a 6-month period, with access to a mentor/coach and a network of fellow learners, to explore new ideas, share challenges and celebrate successes.
A care home manager who recently completed our PSDP said:

‘Leading Well’ for Aspiring Managers and New Team Leaders
Informed by our work immersed in the sector, we’ve also designed a new programme specifically for aspiring managers and those new into the team leader role. This programme will specifically support these individuals to meet ‘well led’ standards and provide empowering and enabling leadership within their care setting. It consists of:
- 1 full day face-to-face workshop
- A unique offer of 4 virtual group coaching sessions (action learning sets) over a 4-month period
Our programmes are always bespoke to the needs of our participants.
