Making the decision to move into a care home can be a fantastic, positive move – and it can also be a decision that’s made in a background of anxiety, pain and confusion. It can be overwhelming trying to decide what you or your loved one would like and need from a new home and can leave you with a lot of questions.

My Home Life Cymru have prepared a check list of some of the kinds of questions you may have around making the choice which is the right residential care home for you or your loved one. This is based on the My Home Life themes of best practice, and is available as a free download.

Age UK have produced a series of films of a small group of older people living in care homes talking about life inside their care home, how they came to move into care.
