My Home Life

Our vision is a world where all care homes for older people are great places to live, die, visit and work.

Older people and Relatives

Are you interested in how we can make care homes the best they can be? Do you live in a care home or who have a relative or friend living in a care home?

If so, we’d like to invite you to join our Users and Carers Involvement Group. This group meets a few times a year to act as a check that we (the My Home Life team) are supporting care homes to deliver the best quality of life possible. The meetings are usually in London – if you live in London we can arrange transport for you to get to the meetings.

The kind of things we’d cover at the meetings might be sharing with you what we are working on now or what we might do in the future and hearing what you have to say about how we can help to make a difference to quality of life in care homes.

If you’re interested in joining the group – or if you’re based out of London and want to ask how else you could get involved – please email mhl@city.ac.uk or call 020 7040 5776.
