New website for MHL Scotland

My Home Life Scotland have launched their new website –

Filled with advice, information about positive caring practice plus some fantastic videos to show you how to put tools into action – the ‘Resources for Practice’ section is a fantastic one-stop-shop for tools and advice from My Home Life and other organisations – take a look.

My Home Life in Scotland is led by Professor Belinda Dewar at the University of the West of Scotland. In Scotland, the North Lanarkshire Health and Social Care partnership were the first to commission the MHL Leadership Support and Community Development Programme as part of the Capability and Capacity Building work it was doing in conjunction with the Independent sector which includes Care Homes providers. Since 2012 a further 8 partnerships have commissioned the programme, there are now 12 programmes running with over 120 care home managers participating.
