Innovation Champions – collaborate with us!

Innovation-Champions-FlyerV8

Are you a care home manager working with older people in London? Are you passionate about care homes and making them better? Are you able to give some of your time to shape some of our future work?

We are looking for a group of care home managers to join us in helping to shape an ‘Innovation Champions’ network across London, and create a set of resources to support quality in care homes.

What will the Innovation Champions be doing in the meetings?

  • We will be working together to explore the creation of a London network of care home managers who will keep in touch with each other to give support and exchange practice ideas.
  • We will also be designing resources together, such as leaflets, booklets etc, around the areas of partnership working, risk taking and monitoring to be shared with all care home managers in London.

What next?

  • After working with you in this way for the next 3 months, we will seek to engage with the wider London group of 2000 care homes and invite them to a series of events on quality between May and July 2013.

Our first Innovation Champion meeting will take place on Thursday 21st February at City University London. For further details on the meeting, or for any other enquiries, please contact us on mhl@city.ac.uk or telephone 020 7040 5776.
